Mercado de las Rosas is a large nursery, a market and a gastronomic-commercial point located in the heart of the hill in the city of Córdoba, but above all it is a place for meeting, walking and enjoying.
The project is conceived as a large green space where a light and thin metal structure houses the different uses, with the intention of always being contained but blurring the limits of the interior and exterior to walk in a fluid way and surrounded by vegetation.
The layout of the program responds to commercial activity, locating the gastronomic establishments towards Av. Rafael Nuñez and the market towards the neighborhood, with a nursery that embraces everything and gives it unity. With the accesses from both ends and a main circulation that joins them, a main walk is marked, a circulation flow that crosses the lot and links the two sectors. At the same time, a central open space is released, forming a square where light and air predominate, surrounded by the market and the greenhouse, the heart of this undertaking.
